And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
isabella tugged at her shirt, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the snug fit. she had just left her family's home, after sneaking in to wash up. she hasn't been able to shower in a week because she hadn't been able to sneak in anywhere in a while. more like she felt bad for doing it. and who wouldn't? she had seen one of the people that she had stolen from moments after she took things, and their faces broke her heart. but bella knew she couldn't think like that. it was a dog eat dog world, and if she didn't step up her game she would surely be eaten. anyways, one look at her sent her sister's into a frenzy. they washed her hair about twenty times and wasted an entire bottle of body wash. not that isabella minded. it was nice that she was able to be pampered for a little while. plus, it was her favorite scent of body wash : coconut. she hated coconut but the smell always made her skin tingle. anyways, as soon as the girls were done cleaning her, they moved on to covering her face with makeup and making her try on twenty different outfits. it was a real sister bonding moment that bella was sad to have to go away from.
but her parents were going to be home any minute and she could not bear to have them catch her in the house. isabella could barely remember what her parents looked like anymore. most of her mental images depicted them as descendents of satan. she knew that she shouldn't think like that of the people that gave life to her, but she found it so unfair that they would want to control who she was supposed to marry. it was unnatural, at least bella thought it was. anyways, isabella continued walking, trying to find something to do. begging for food was a bust seeing as no one would pay attention to her when she looked like a princess and she was not going to mess it up. though she was sure some of the other hobos would do it for her. she groaned at the thought of returning back there but she quickly shook it off. she was not about to have a sad moment in the middle of the street. isabella continued racking her brain for something to eat, luckily, her stomach helped her out. it let out a huge roar which made many of the people around her stare. bella frowned at them before looking down at her stomach. she hadn't realized that she spent all of that time getting prettied up when she was actually going there to get some food. bella mentally smacked herself before placing her hands in her pockets. by stroke of fate, she found twenty dollars in there. her eyes lit up, glad that her sisters forgot about things like that.
then again, they could afford to forget about twenty dollars. bella shook her head and quickly let her eyes search for the closest food place. it seemed to be isabella's lucky day because just a couple footsteps away, there was a mcdonalds. usually, she hated fast food because it was all greasy and she thought about the animals used to kill it, but she could not afford to be picky right now. bella rushed inside, ordered some food, and waited impatiently. finally, they called out her order but it seemed like someone else had ordered the same thing as her. just as bella grabbed the tray, a hand reached out for it. maybe she wasn't so lucky.
